      nother way is to think of how to organize the whole space arranged around the portrait, especially if you like the portrait and want to talk about yourself a little to people with the help of the portrait. Here, interior decorators or the artist himself could be helpful. Or both.

        portrait must be lovingly--yes, precisely lovingly--framed. Don't rely exclusively on your taste and choice. Framing is a high art that can accentuate the most advantageous aspects of a work of art. (On the other hand, an unskilled framing sometimes simply kills the impression of the portrait. Be careful!) This is doubly true for the presentation of graphics.
